v1.17.3: BI Dashboard, Online Checkout & Smarter Memberships

We've shipped a big Boxbase update packed with new features and improvements. Here's what's new 👇

📊 BI Metrics Dashboard

Understanding how your gym is performing shouldn't require spreadsheets. The new BI Metrics Dashboard gives you a clear, real-time overview of your key business numbers in one place.

Track revenue, membership growth, retention, and more at a glance. Spot trends early, make informed decisions, and focus your energy where it matters most.

🛒 Online Checkout

Members can now purchase memberships themselves, directly from your plan store. The checkout handles plan selection, payment, agreements, and activation automatically. No admin work required.

🔄 Flexible Membership Cancellations

Cancelling a membership used to be all-or-nothing. Now you have three options:

• Regular cancellation: Cancel at the end of the current period.
• By upcoming cycle: Cancel at the end of the next billing cycle.
• By specific date: Set an exact end date that works for the member.

This gives you and your members more flexibility and avoids unnecessary back-and-forth around cancellation timing.

📬 Automated Member Emails

Two new automated email triggers help you stay connected with your members without lifting a finger:

• Membership running low: Notify members when their unit-based membership is almost used up, so they can renew before it runs out.
• Birthday emails: Celebrate your members automatically with a birthday message.

🎯 Improvements & Fixes

Beyond the headline features, this release includes a wide range of improvements across the platform. We've redesigned several core tables (members, memberships, payments, plans) for a cleaner experience, added CSV export for members and payments, introduced a day view to the admin calendar, and improved how memberships are prioritized during class registration.

We also resolved a number of bugs around billing dates, membership states, cancellation handling, and class management to keep things running smoothly.
